Description:

1. Private vehicles are not allowed to enter the campus. When necessary, on-campus transportation is provided by electric vehicles and bicycle use is encouraged. The vehicles owned by the university are renewed and replaced with electric and hybrid vehicles.

2. There are applications fot benefiting from Solar Energy on our campus.

3. Smoking areas within the campus are limited to the maximum level. It’s aimed to be a non-smoking campus in the future.

4. The water obtained from the water collection pool created in 2020 is used for irrigation of green areas.

5. Shuttle service is not provided on campus. In order to reduce staff and students traveling with their own vehicles, ring shuttle service is offered within the city. In this way, it contributes to the reduction of carbon emissions at the national level. This service is free for staff and is a very symbolic rate for students.

6. The qualified green area on the campus was increased to 99,268 square meters in 2020 with an increase of 104 percent compared to the previous year.
