Another International Award to IZU

Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University has been awarded by Cambridge IFA in the category of “Good Governance, Sustainability and Green Campus 2020.”

Speaking at the award ceremony, held online due to the coronavirus outbreak, IZU Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bulut, reminding that last year we were placed among the best five hundred sustainable universities around the world by GreenMetric, said that our university has got a sustainable area of 60 square kilometres; a large and beautiful green campus with the level of minimum carbon footprint.

In his speech, stating that as an international university IZU, with over 11 thousand students, 4 thousand of which are graduate students, from more than 95 countries, is growing day by day, Prof Dr Bulut emphasized that our academicians are particularly pioneers in the fields of Islamic Economy and Finance, Halal Industry, Political Science and International Relations.

Prof Dr Mehmet Bulut maintained his speech by saying that “We are providing full scholarship education to students both from our region and all over the world with a believing soul in social responsibility and public service to humanity and we also believe in that the most valuable wealth and worth is the well-educated young generation.”

Our Rector Prof Dr Mehmet Bulut concluded his speech by remarking that we are trying to do our best for higher education, from our noble past to a bright future.

London-based Cambridge IFA, which provides strategic consultancy to governments, financial institutions and multilateral organizations in the fields of Economy, Management, Investment etc., has been granting awards in various categories since 2016.
