Important Note: Dates of participation of the applicants in mobility is between 5.04.2018 and 31.05.2018.

Erasmus+ Program Countries Staff Mobility for Teaching

The mobility of the Erasmus+ program for academicians enables the teaching staff to teach at least 2 days to a maximum of 2 months in another participating country. Full-time academics working in Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University can apply for an Erasmus+ mobility to a partner university in any European Union member country where the university have an interinstitutional agreement.

How to Apply?

Academics who wish to apply must complete the online application form at https://applyerasmus.izu.edu.tr/.

Application Documents

  • Online Application Form must be completed completely.
  • The photo must be attached to the application form.
  • If there is a Language Examination Result Certificate (TOEFL-IBT, TOEFL-CBT, TOEFL-PBT, YDS, YÖKDİL and IELTS exams which are accepted as equivalent by the University) YDS and YÖKDİL Language Examination documents will be evaluated by considering the validity condition for 5 years. The validity period of the other language proficiency certificates is 2 years.)
  • Personnel with disabilities should upload the necessary document to the system.
  • Veteran personnel should upload the honorary titel for war veterans certificate to the system.

 Minimum Requirements

 In order to participate in the activity, academics must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Staff with the obligation to teach
  • An interinstitutional agreement, made between the institutions in which the staff will teach

The academic staff certifying the result of the examination such as YÖKDİL, YDS, TOEFL, IELTS or equivalence examination accepted by OSYM will be awarded with the points as indicated in the table on the side.

Or, for the academic staff who graduated from their PhD abroad will receive their foreign language points of +8 points, as if they would for a Foreign Language Exam score between 81-90.

If there is an equality in the sort, the following priorities are applied in order until the equality breaks down.

Online applications are ranked according to the above measures.Candidates with the highest score are selected as noble, spare and ungranted within the quotas.

Erasmus+ Mobility Option with Grant

The amount of daily allowance to be provided to the personnel who will benefit from the teaching mobility is determined by the National Agency in accordance with the living standards of the countries as follows:

80% of the Erasmus grant is given before mobility starts. The remaining 20% is credited to the Euro account specified by the beneficiary in the contract signed with the personnel who will be able to take advantage of the teaching mobility after the transactions are completed.

 

2017-2018 Academic year mobility grant is for activities between 4 April 2018 - 25 May 2018.

The willing staff can take advantage of the teaching mobility without grant.

The amount of the grant awarded in the teaching mobility is calculated by the sending institution in the framework of the rules determined by the National Agency.

A person who benefits from the mobility of teaching will be paid a travel allowance based on daily / weekly per diem and travel distance within the rules set by the Center. This payment is a contribution to the travel and per diem expenses incurred abroad. Payment of travel expenses are a contribution to the cost of travel to and from the place where the participants are located. Travel distance is calculated using the distance calculator provided by the European Commission. Once, it is added to the participant's grant.

The grant given to the staff benefiting from the mobility of teaching is not intended to cover all expenses related to travel abroad.

Erasmus+ Mobility Option without Grant

Staff may exercise this right by using the "without Grant" preference on the online form at the time of application or by notifying the Erasmus Institution Coordinator after the results are announced.

Additional Grant for Special Needs Owners

For disabled staff, they may receive additional grants according to their specific needs. For detailed information, please contact with the Erasmus Office.

Grant Calculation

In staff mobility, selected staff will be given 5-day grants and travel support.

Eg: 5 x the amount of daily grant of the Country of Departure + the travel grant given by the value of the country calculated according to the destination country
