ABOUT THE CONGRESS

Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Graduate Education Institute, in collaboration with the İlim Yayma Foundation, will host the Graduate Student Congress on May 14-15, 2025. The Congress is open to master’s and PhD students in the fields of science, health, and social sciences.

Master's and PhD students intending to attend the Congress must submit their full-text papers, written per the Congress' writing guidelines, via the system on the website https://izu.edu.tr/izu-iyv-kong2 by April 25, 2025. The writing guidelines and template are available on the website. The Congress is open to all fields of science, health, and social sciences, and the acceptance of the submitted full-text papers for presentation will be decided after the peer review process.

The Congress will be held in Turkish, English, and Arabic. Participants must submit their papers in the language of their presentation. Translations of the papers are not required.

All submitted manuscripts must be unpublished. Papers under review for publication are not eligible.

A maximum of 2 (two) papers, either as a single or co-authored, can be submitted, and all authors must be master's or PhD students.

The number of authors per paper is limited to three.

Full-text papers uploaded to the Congress application system are sent to referees for review. They may either be accepted or rejected based on the reports provided by the referees.

Full-text papers presented at the Congress will be published on the Congress website as a proceedings book (with ISBN numbers). Papers should be a minimum of 6 pages (2250 words) and a maximum of 21 pages (8000 words).

Presentations will take place in person within a 15-20 minute time frame. If a paper is not presented, despite its acceptance, no participation certificate will be provided, and the paper will not be published in full text.

There is no participation fee for the Congress.
