Dear Student,

Students who wish to apply for the PhD qualifying exam to be held in the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year are required to fill in the application form below in computer environment between 19 April 2021 and apply to the Graduate School Secretariat together with their language proficiency and ALES results. Applications can be made to the relevant Institute official by mail or by hand delivery to the Institute Secretariat at Halkalı Campus.

Doctoral Qualifying Exams will be held in June 2021, and the date and time will be decided by the relevant head of program.

How the exams will be conducted will be announced later on. (online or face to face)

ISSUES TO BE CONSIDERED

1. Students who have completed their courses and seminars, have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 and have fulfilled their Foreign Language Proficiency may apply for the doctoral proficiency exam.
2. Students who are accepted with a master's degree have to take the doctoral qualifying exam by the end of the fifth semester at the latest, following the relevant regulations.
3. Students who did not apply for the PhD Qualifying Exam held in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year or failed the exam must apply again on the specified dates. Students who do not apply will be deemed unsuccessful and will be dismissed from the University.
