DUTIES

  • To ensure and coordinate the effective, efficient and regular work of administrative and technical staff in the unit in which they are employed
  • Assisting the unit managers in administrative and technical matters
  • Ensuring that processes are implemented within the framework of relevant legislation
  • To carry out the reporter duty in relevant unit boards
  • To carry out the procedures such as enrollment and admission, writing, registration, discipline and graduation of the students and ensuring that the exam notes are processed correctly and regularly.
  • Ensure that the unit's archive keeps records of movable property in order
  • Identify the unit's annual needs and report it
  • To check the official correspondences of the relevant department, to paraphrase and present it for verification
  • To ensure that the unit staff perform operations such as discipline, permits, reports etc.
  • To plan, coordinate and implement the in-service training of unit personnel
  • To do other tasks given by the unit managers
  • To Participate in seminars, meetings and trainings on professional development.

SERVICES

The unit secretary, who has undertaken an important role in carrying out the unit services correctly and effectively within the framework of the legislation is expected to have full knowledge of administrative and legal information that is in their fields; to have maximum attention and care during the performance of the tasks; to have harmonious with colleagues, to become respectful, genial and kind in their interpersonal relationships; to make understandable explanations to authorities in related matters; to ensure that the transactions made are fully recorded and to take necessary precautions for the protection of said transctions; to possess the characteristics of confidentiality, the sense of belonging and responsibility; to become careful, hard-working, honest, constantly open to development and innovation; to train other staff; to adopt the institution culture; to comply with ethical and institutional quality rules, the work programs and strategic plans.
